Visit a Butterfly Conservatory, the Virginia Carousel, and farm fun activities, hayrides, outdoor picnics and concerts, and a five acre corn maze, great for groups and family events.

One of the oldest community canning kitchens in the United States is located in the fruitful Shenandoah Valley in a small town called Keezletown. Individuals and groups are invited to use this community facility to learn how to can or to quickly and easily can large batches of fruits, vegetables, sauces, or other foods. Operating hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays 8 am til, and also by appointment. The operating season for the Cannery is from the first Monday in July until the second Friday in December. Rockingham County Fairgrounds

Enjoy many events at the Fairgrounds including the weeklong Rockingham County Fair held every year in August. Festival and conference space available, events such as dog/cat shows, arts and crafts shows are held at this location as well as the annual Rockingham County Fair. Located on historic Route 11.

Opens mid September through December 19, closes November 22. Wednesday - Friday 8am to 5:30 pm. Saturdays 8 am to 2 pm. Directions: I-81 to Harrisonburg Exit 247 West. Go west on Market Street (Rt. 33) 3.3 miles. Turn right onto Cook's Creek Road for 1.4 miles. Turn left onto Mt. Clinton Pike. The Market is 0.6 miles on the right in the red barn.  Apples, Peaches, Pumpkins.

Timberville Market-  We will reopen for Peach Sales in July! Located on the corner of Orchard Dr. and Mechanicsville Rd. in the green building.

During PEACH and NECTARINE season we will advertise availability in local newspapers. Please call our main office at 540-896-3079 to check for availabiliy, since our Peaches and Nectarines are only picked when they are ripe! Hours: Wed – Friday 8 am – 5:30 pm and Saturday, 8 am – 2 pm. These times may change when Daylight Savings Time ends.

Directions: I-81 Exit 264 New Market. Go west on Rt. 211 to Timberville. At stoplight, turn right onto Rt. 42 (Main Street). Continue thru Timberville for approximately 1 mile and turn left on to Rt 881 or Orchard Drive. Continue on Orchard Drive for 2 miles. Turn left on to Mechanicsville Road. The Market is on the right - on the corner of Orchard Drive and Mechanicsville Road.

White Oak Lavender Farm

A small family owned farm only a few miles from Harrisonburg. We grow our own lavender plants and will have a "U-Pick" in the summer and special events throughout the year. Buy lavender, enjoy our homemade lavender lemonade, and lavender products. Relax in the many areas set aside for you to sit and smell the lavender and shop in our farm store.
